Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to the Qwint Caption Software, AI Services, accounts, credits, templates, website, and infrastructure.

01 Lawful Use

You may use Qwint Caption only for lawful purposes.

You must have the necessary rights or permission to process submitted video, audio, and other content.

02 Prohibited Content and Activities

You may not use Qwint Caption to:

  • Violate applicable law.
  • Infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
  • Process unlawfully obtained private recordings.
  • Harass, threaten, exploit, or defame another person.
  • Create or distribute unlawful sexual content.
  • Exploit or endanger children.
  • Facilitate violence, terrorism, or criminal activity.
  • Impersonate another person deceptively.
  • Create fraudulent evidence or deceptive official records.
  • Spread malware or malicious code.
  • Gain unauthorised access to systems.
  • Interfere with service operation.
  • Test vulnerabilities without written permission.
  • Circumvent limits, activation, billing, or security measures.

03 Account and Licence Abuse

You may not:

  • Share an account or licence key.
  • Sell access.
  • Rent access.
  • Transfer credits without permission.
  • Allow multiple users to use a single-user plan.
  • Publish the installer or ZIP package.
  • Use fraudulent payment information.
  • Create accounts to avoid restrictions.
  • Continue using files after a refund or licence termination.

04 Automated and Bulk Use

Unless a written enterprise agreement expressly allows it, you may not:

  • Operate Qwint Caption through bots.
  • Run continuous unattended processing.
  • Build an API around the Software.
  • Resell transcription capacity.
  • Use scripts to avoid rate limits.
  • Use multiple accounts to multiply plan limits.
  • Provide a commercial transcription platform powered by a personal plan.

05 Unlimited Plan Fair Use

Unlimited plans are intended for reasonable video-editing activity performed by the subscribed human user.

We may investigate usage that is unusually high, automated, shared, or materially disruptive.

Reasonable measures may include:

  • Processing queues.
  • Concurrency limits.
  • Temporary rate limits.
  • Identity or usage verification.
  • Upgrade discussions for commercial-scale processing.
  • Suspension where abuse continues.

We will not use fair-use restrictions to reduce ordinary genuine editing use arbitrarily.

06 Software and Template Protection

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer protected components.
  • Extract the Template library for redistribution.
  • Sell modified Templates as standalone assets.
  • Upload Templates to marketplaces or file-sharing services.
  • Include Templates in another plugin, application, or template pack.
  • Use our files to train a competing template-generation system.
  • Remove proprietary notices.
  • Claim authorship or ownership of Qwint Caption assets.

07 AI Output Responsibilities

You must review AI-generated Output before using it.

You must not represent AI-generated captions as verified or professionally certified when they have not been reviewed.

You remain responsible for:

  • Accuracy.
  • Rights clearance.
  • Legal compliance.
  • Publication.
  • Accessibility requirements.
  • Client approval.
  • Sensitive or high-risk use.

08 Enforcement

Depending on seriousness, we may:

  • Warn the user.
  • Restore appropriate limits.
  • Remove unauthorised access.
  • Suspend processing.
  • Revoke device activations.
  • Terminate a licence.
  • Preserve relevant evidence.
  • Report unlawful activity where legally required.

Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.

09 Reporting Abuse

Report suspected abuse to support@qwintsoft.com.

Include sufficient details for us to investigate, but do not send unnecessary sensitive data.
